One way to do this is to raise awareness, especially with the younger generation. Our intern Lily Hartzell has spent the\u00a0last six weeks developing\u00a0a six lesson religious education curriculum for fourth and fifth graders (but it can be used as a tool for all ages) about the effects of climate change,\u00a0focusing especially on ties to the United\u00a0Nation&#8217;s many programs. The goal of the curriculum is to give participants the knowledge and skills they need to take action against climate change as they grow up\u00a0and for them to develop an understanding of the problem that is grounded in their faith. We gratefully acknowledge the UUA\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/org.salsalabs.com\/dia\/track.jsp?v=2&amp;c=EONTNzsKuYFSkgilBWI%2F%2Be0dXqoRA380\" target=\"_blank\">Tapestry of Faith<\/a>\u00a0program &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/org.salsalabs.com\/dia\/track.jsp?v=2&amp;c=HWr2k6xZIOjVv3OYAkYeVO0dXqoRA380\" target=\"_blank\">World of Wonder<\/a>&#8221; for stories in sessions one and five.<\/p>\n<p>We would love for congregations to try out the new curriculum and spread the word.
