Deutch is a strong supporter of the elimination of the \u201cImmigration Detention Bed Mandate.\u201d The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has a 2009 statutory mandated quota to hold at least 34,000 individuals in detention on a daily basis.
