When casting a ballot, voters express their preferences for a candidate or views on issues. The contentious political climate in the US today is giving voters a lot to think about. For UUs, guided by our 5th Principle, we are committed to encourage voter participation and advocate for election reform and voting rights.<\/p>\n<p>UUSJ has received a special grant from the Fund for Unitarian Universalist Social Responsibility to support a regional voter education, voter registration and Get Out the Vote program leading up to the November elections. Eight congregations signed on to partner with us and will send representatives to the project leadership team:<\/p>\n<p>All Souls Church, Unitarian, DC<br \/>\nUnitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, VA<br \/>\nBull Run Unitarian Universalist Congregation, Manassas, VA<br \/>\nCedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church, Bethesda, MD<br \/>\nMt.
