Ask Your College empowers you to make a difference for democracy right now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Please bookmark this page in your browser so that you can easily return to this site, and follow the steps below to participate in the Ask Your College campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1589483667211_13289\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Action Kit<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>1. <\/strong><strong>Sign Up<\/strong>: Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/p27JDL1rg4juPmYq8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Volunteer Action Form<\/a> to sign up and identify colleges you\u2019re connected to. From here, our team can support you in making your ask.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>2. <\/strong><strong>Make Your Ask<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Your goal is to have the president of your college make the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allinchallenge.org\/higher-education-presidents-commitment-to-full-student-voter-participation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Higher Education Presidents\u2019 Commitment to Full Student Voter Participation<\/a>, an initiative of the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Resources below provides tools to help you:<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Send a letter<\/strong>. The most direct approach is to edit the appropriate sample president\u2019s letter and email it directly to the college president. We recommend copying the Vice President of Student Affairs. When you send a letter via email, please bcc <a href=\"mailto:askyourcollegecampaign@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">askyourcollegecampaign@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Recruit others to join your ask<\/strong>. If you have contacts with other college community members \u2013 such as faculty, alumni, and others \u2013 you might choose to recruit them to co-sign the letter to the president. We have created social media options (such as for Twitter, FaceBook, and Change.org) for your use in the Resources below.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>3. <\/strong><strong>Follow up<\/strong>: With your college and our team.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>With your college<\/strong><em>: <\/em>Especially in this moment, college leaders are extremely busy. If you do not receive a response to your initial outreach in 2-3 weeks, we recommend following up and bcc\u2019ing <a href=\"mailto:askyourcollegecampaign@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">askyourcollegecampaign@gmail.com<\/a>.
