Common Cause has more than 1 million members and offices in 30 states, working together to build a democracy that works for us all.

Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF). IAF is the nation’s largest network of multi-faith citizens organizations. Several UU congregations already participate in voter registration drives as members of affiliates of IAF.

The League of Conservation Voters Education Fund (LCVEF) has a national network of 28 state affiliates that engage the public, environmental groups, and policymakers to advance environmental priorities across the country.

League of Women Voters has more than 700 local and state groups whose goal is to empower voters and defend democracy.

Spread the Vote has chapters in ten states to help ensure that people have what they need to vote, including state ID’s.

State Voices is a nonpartisan group with a presence in 23 states. They work on voter registration and issues like redistricting. They work with organizations that engage and serve historically underrepresented and marginalized populations – including Black people, Indigenous people and other people of color, TLGBQ+ people, low-income individuals, single women, and youth.

Vote Forward enables individuals in any location to easily write and send letters to lists of voters in various states, which encourages them to register and vote. Set up an account and they send you a list of people to whom you can send a letter and they supply you the letter wording. Get a few friends together for an addressing party and they can bring a roll of stamps.

The Voter Participation Center lists a few organizations that work to register under-served populations.

When We All Vote is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization whose mission is to increase participation in every election and close the race and age voting gap by changing the culture around voting, harnessing grassroots energy, and through strategic partnerships to reach every American. It was launched in 2018 by co-chairs Michelle Obama, Tom Hanks, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Janelle Monae, Chris Paul, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw.
