The UUSJ collaborates with local Unitarian Universalist churches to prioritize issue areas. Below are the social justice initiatives in which the UUSJ is most active:  The issue priorities for 2014-2015 were Immigration, the Environment,  Escalating Economic Inequity, and LGBTQ rights.  We work with the UU Legislative Ministry of Maryland and UU Legislative Ministry of Virginia.  UUSJ leads on national advocacy and the legislative ministries on state advocacy.
