Last November our volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work, so during 2017 we’ve advocated on behalf of UUs across the nation, in collaboration with UUs from around our region. We’ve grown the profile of UUSJ advocacy. We launched our every second Tuesday, Advocacy Corps marking us with distinction. We participated in rallies and vigils. We consistently met with Members of Congress and staff, bringing UU values to bear. And, we’ve organized UU letter-writers to share personal stories.  Looking to 2018, we’ve got plenty to do, but this past year UUSJ’s volunteers took action like no one expected and together, we made a difference!
