Annual CCAN Keep Winter Cold Polar Bear Plunge – Jan. 23, National Harbor, MD

Saturday, January 23, 10:30am-2:00pm
National Plaza at National Harbor, 165 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, MD
Sponsored by Chesapeake Climate Action Network and 350 Loudoun

According to Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN), the annual Keep Winter Cold Polar Bear Plunge is its priority fundraising event for powering victories to move our region off of fossil fuels and to clean energy solutions. For the plunge’s 11th anniversary, CCAN is aiming to raise $90,000 to support its work. As in past years, activists, friends, and families will show their commitment to fighting climate change by jumping in the icy Potomac River. After the plunge, CCAN invites you to stay for its 11th anniversary party.

If you want to participate, sign up. Or, you can support a plunger, like Natalie Pien, member of UU Loudoun and 350 Loudoun, on her fundraiser page.
