Different organizations use different approaches and different texting software. It can be confusing. Although the texting applications are similar, you will need to be trained when you start out, and will likely need some training if you move from one organization to another.
Organizations also use different approaches for organizing and getting you started. Many use an application called Slack to get you to the right place so you can start texting, and some just work from Zoom and give you a link to where you need to start.
