Immigration Reform Advocacy

immigration reformMarch 25-April 5

From Rev. Craig C. Roshaven, Witness Ministries Director
This spring, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to pass compassionate, comprehensive immigration reform. As people of faith, we must raise our voices for an immigration reform bill that promotes justice, compassion, and keeps families together. We have assembled a step-by-step guide to making our voices heard. Our goal is to equip Unitarian Universalists and other people of faith to meet with their members of Congress and advocate for Compassionate Immigration Reform during the “state work period” March 25 – April 5. It’s important that UUs participate because we are one of the few faiths that will advocate for the Uniting American Families Act which is a critical issue for same sex couples.
