Razia Kosi, is a mental health professional, the co-founder of Counselors Helping (South) Asians/Indians, Inc. (CHAI) and the Cultural Proficiency Specialist with the Howard County Public School System. Her daughter Maya, a high school senior, recently penned a moving essay entitled “I Was Born Pansexual. The Diagnosis Came Later.” about her journey and the lack of support LGBTQ youth face from our society.
